ANGORA GOATS

PYRENEES GUARD DOGS

Angora goat mother and baby Clarice enjoys the afternoon nap time with her baby, Millie, who was born in middle February, 2007. We now have a herd of five, with three of them being babies. As time goes on, we will be breeding for a superior quality of mohair. As time permits, angora kids, mohair and wearable art, will be added to our list of things for sale, at Dragonfly Den. We are always open to visitors, if you will drop us a note or give us a call. Pyrenees Guard Dogs This is Sadie, our main guard dog, for the herd of goats. She is a purebred Great Pyrenees, known for their guarding, as well as gentle temperament. Her sidekick, is Dozer, a 4 month old purebred Pyrenees who is now learning to assert himself against the predators on our property. In 2008 we will have a litter of puppies and begin their training before we let them go to livestock owners who are looking for a great dog with plenty of guarding abilities.

CHICKENS

VIEWS

Crested Chickens Here are some of our feathered friends, a Polish rooster and a Houdan hen, who begins her day looking for a place to lay her daily eggs. We have several hens, producing from 6-8 eggs per day and as our guest, you are welcome to enjoy the farm fresh eggs. They range free part of the time, when we are home, so that they don't get into something they shouldn't. Klamath River View Come and enjoy this view of the Klamath River, from our lodging site. Down on the river we have 1,200ft. of river frontage where you may try your hand at gold prospecting, fishing, river rafting or kayaking. We are situated on 16 acres with views of the river as well as the Marble Mountains. The Pacific Crest Trail is about an hour downriver from us.
